International acclaim for Rosanne Philippens Szymanowski CDAugust 24th 2015 Scherzo Magazine, The Strad, Luister
The Spannish "Scherzo Magazine" called it the "new unavoidable reference for this beautiful concerto", comparing it with recordings by Zehetmaier, Baiba Skride, Steinbacher and Tetzlaff; The Strad wrote "her technique shows no weaknesses [...] in her commanding account" and "Philippens's Stravinsky is beguilingly turned as her compelling Chant de Roxan"; Dutch magazine Luister gave it a 10/10. In "Myth" Rosanne Philippens present the Concerto no.1 op.35, several works for violin and piano including the Myths op.30 by Szymanowski and a few works for violin and piano by Strawinski.
In March 2016 Rosanne will perform the Concerto no.1 in Freiburg, Germany. The works for violin and piano can be heard during several recitals this season. Please check www.rosannephilippens.com for an up-to-date tour schedule.
