Stephan BrekelmansStephan`s first contact with music was at his primary school where he was a member of the Gregorian Choir St.Jozef in Helmond. The same school also used the Ward-Method which incorporated music in the teaching programme. Eleven years old he joined the Stedelijk Helmonds Concertkoor where the foundation was laid for his love for classical music and singing. From then on he knew that his life would be dedicated to music.
In 1986 he graduated as a singer from the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam. As a free-lance singer he sang in The Netherlands Radio Choir, The Netherlands Opera Choir and The Amsterdam Baroque Choir. Stephan started his music management career at the office of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. He briefly worked at the Nieuwe Kerk on the Dam Square-Amsterdam famous for its unique exhibitions.
In 2001 Marijke Klinkhamer and Leontien van der Vliet offered him a job at Artists Management Klinkhamer van der Vliet. January 2006 he became Leontien van der Vliet`s partner at Artists Management Klinkhamer van der Vliet, now Interartists Amsterdam.
