Three top soloists each with their own careers. In 2009, Nino Gvetadze, Frederieke Saeijs and Maja Bogdanovic met each other for the first time. It clicked immediately and the three ladies decided to continue as a piano trio alongside their solo careers. This trio shows that love for music has no boundaries. Violinist Frederieke Saeijs is from The Hague, pianist Nino Gvetadze from Georgia and cellist Maja Bogdanovic from Belgrade. In the 15 years they have been performing together, they have played on many major stages.

The extensive repertoire also includes Ludwig van Beethoven's Triple Concerto, which the Trio performed with the Bergische Symphoniker led by Stephan Tetzlaff in Germany.

The trio is going to record an album on Challenge Classics. Both Nino Gvetadze and Maja Bogdanovic made several recordings for this label. The Carl Maria von Weber Sonata album, which Frederieke Saeijs and Nino Gvetadze recorded for Naxos, already has more than 6 million downloads on Spotify.

Reviews

[…] This was chamber music at a very high level yesterday afternoon at the Muziekgebouw. Violinist Frederieke Saeijs and Georgian pianist Nino Gvetadze are top musical performers. Both possess formidable technics and, above all, their performance speak directly to the hearts of the audience. They get to the bottom of every score.

With masterful renditions of Schubert’s Notturno and Mendelssohn’s First Piano Trio, the trio demonstrated the particularly high level.

With her cello, built by Frank Ravatin, Bogdanovic knows how to touch the soul of the listener. From the deepest regions to the highest played tones, she brings the strings of her instrument to life.
