Benjamin Levy will be leading the Orchestra de Cannes until July 2025, it has recently been confirmed. First appointed Musical Director of the Orchestre de Cannes on 1 November 2016, he was reappointed for the first time in September 2018. The renewed contract will allow the Orchestre de Cannes and Benjamin Levy to continue the numerous artistic and educational projects that have been initiated during Levy’s tenure, such as the Sympho New Orchestra Academy or the "one class, one work" scheme. The transmission of music is always at the heart of the collaboration between the orchestra and Benjamin Lévy.

Since his appointment in 2016, Benjamin Levy has been offering symphonic concerts that combine internationally renowned artists with emerging talents. Under his leadership, the Orchestra has explored new repertoire, in ambitious and original artistic programmes, including live video mixing, bird singer performers, beatboxing, world music, and even tap dancers.

In the 2021/2022 season, Benjamin Levy and the Orchestre de Cannes will highlight the diversity of the classical repertoire. The public will be able to discover great names of the international scene as well as new concert formulas, to spend an hour in the intimacy of the Orchestra and in proximity to the musicians.
