Interartists Amsterdam is delighted to welcome baritone Raoul Steffani to its roster for Opera as well as Concert management.
Praised by Opernwelt for singing “fresh and lyrically clear, with a sensitive interpretation, from an intelligent theatrical distance", Raoul will make his debut this summer as Ned Keene in a spectacular seaside production of Peter Grimes with Wadopera.
Next season, he will revive the role of Ramiro in L'heure espagnole for Opéra de Toulon. Operatic roles he looks forward to debuting in the future are, among others, Mercutio, Harlekin, Pollux, Falke and Papageno.
On the concert stage, he can be heard in numerous song recitals with pianist Gerold Huber and with Lucie Horsch, for series and festivals such as Oxford Lieder, Kunsthalle Hamburg, TivoliVredenburg, Vocallis and International Lied Festival Zeist. In January 2022, he will sing opera and operetta arias and duets on tour in the Netherlands with the orchestra Phion.
Since May 2021, Raoul has been a member of Equilibrium, the Young Artist Programme of Barbara Hannigan.
