Interartists Amsterdam is delighted to welcome countertenor Alex Potter to its vocal roster. Praised for his "exceptional taste" (Scherzo Magazine) and his "warm and luminous tone" (Bachtrack), he is one of the most sought-after interpreters of seventeenth and eighteenth-century music.

The British countertenor is a regular soloist of leading early music ensembles across Europe, having performed with conductors including Philippe Herreweghe, Thomas Hengelbrock, Lars Ulrik Mortensen, Jordi Savall, Jos van Veldhoven, and Peter Neumann.

Alongside numerous performances of works by Bach, Handel and other established composers, he takes a particular interest in seeking out and singing lesser-known repertoire in concerts and recordings under his own direction.
